The hotel Hotel Randers is situated directly in the center of Randers. International flight arrivals may arrive in Copenhagen (http://www.cph.dk/CPH/UK/MAIN/) and then to Aarhus (http://www.aar.dk/default.asp?id=87 ) (a 25 minutes domestic flight) followed by a taxi to the hotel, approx. 40 miles – no shuttle buses are available.
Alternatively you can fly direct to Aarhus from the UK with RyanAir (www.ryanair.com) or British Airways (www.ba.com).
It might be a good idea to meet with other EuroTAAC participants in Copenhagen and travel with the same aircraft to Aarhus to split the taxi fee to Randers! A Minibus can be arranged, but you have to organize the travel pool amongst yourselves.
When booking my flights, I could find no way to book a complete trip from the USA through Copenhagen and on to Aarhus airport. So I decided to fly to Copenhagen, then take the train to Randers. The following should be useful if you make a similar decision. Note - the train leaves directly from the CPH (Copenhagen) International airport. Just remember you're heading for Randers by train - not Århus! The train journey is around 4 hours. When in Randers it's a 15 minute walk to your hotel, or 5 in a taxi. Take a taxi, becuase if you are like me you'll be tired and have more luggage than you want to carry in a strange city! The best way to travel from Aarhus airport to Randers is probably by bus. You could get a cab, Below is the timetable for the bus. The journey will take around an hour. Following is the
