Tom King addresses two topics of interest for developers

Tom King is a Masie Fellow with a master's degree in Instructional Design and 15 years experience developing and managing elearning materials. As a consultant, developer and project manager, he has been directly involved with development of over 1000 hours of elearning. He developed templates and models used for pilot and maintainer elearning for the Boeing 777 jetliner, the F/A-22 jet fighter and the new 787 Dreamliner. His past clients include major telecommunications providers, airlines, heavy equipment manufacturers, textbook publishers, financial services firms, government agencies and others.

Tom is actively involved with many elearning technology specification groups, including ADL SCORM, AICC, IEEE LTSC, and others. He currently serves as AICC Communication Chairman and workgroup leader for the PENS specification. Tom was instrumental in early implementations of LMS specifications for LAN and web-based systems as an early AICC advocate and founder of Solis, maker of Pathware. Tom continues to collaborate with colleagues from a variety of companies offering enterprise-class elearning solutions.
