Airbus A310 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) Aircrew Training

Mark will demonstrate a highly-interactive simulation system built by his team to train aircrew.

Mark Tomlinson spent over 12 years as RAF Aircrew flying Nimrod MR2P Maritime Patrol Aircraft. His experience of CBT started during this period as both a student, where he saw lots of good and bad CBT and later as an instructor using such technologies as CBT and CAI to train front line aircrew. Mark's last role in the RAF was as part of the team that procured a large CBT package from industry in support of a new aircraft introduction to service. Having therefore seen CBT from the perspective of student, instructor, customer and subject matter expert he thought it only right and proper to leave the RAF and join AC&S GmbH and produce CBT and therefore obtain the ‘complete set' as far as CBT experience is concerned ;-)

Mark is now the UK Business Manager and Manager of IT projects for AC&S GmbH and is  therefore responsible for all of the CBT production activities at the company.
